"Dare
Design...the world's largest line of American
Manufactured,
Laser Cut flying model airplane kits!"
|
All Dare Design kits feature laser cut parts, all
necessary stick and sheet wood (balsa & hardwoods) of excellent
quality, Full size rolled plans (very few exceptions, in which case
the plans have one fold), complete instructions, etc. Kits that are
very large (B-17) have formed wire landing gear wire(s). Most kits
have a basic hardware pack, rigging thread, aluminum, brass and
wire, where required. No Dare kits contain any power components,
servos, etc.
Many Dare kits include the very best of vacuum-formed parts when
needed. Many of our kits contain Dare colored covering tissue, which
is of very lightweight, foreign manufacture. The Dare Classic
Lightplane Series kits, for the most part, now contain Japanese
covering tissue. We find that most modelers have been using either
Lite-Span to cover our models, although many use the Dare covering
tissue when included.
Dare Design assumes that most of our customers have some model
building experience, therefore our instruction sheets are brief, but
comprehensive. Beginner kits are noted as such and have more
in-depth instructions. We (and al our designers) are more than
willing to offer assistance to all modelers, regardless of
experience. If you need more information, please cal us at your
convenience." |
Each of the DARE
Laser Cut slow fly kits have been flight tested from sea level to 7200
feet (ASL) using the equipment (and battery pack) recommended
here.
How many others can make that claim?
In a
world seemingly dominated by ARFs, why build a DARE kit? Success!
...Successful Building, Successful Flight, at
any altitude, first time out.
