All Dare Design
kits feature laser cut parts, all necessary stick and sheet wood
(balsa & hardwoods) of excellent quality, Full size rolled plans
(very few exceptions, in which case the plans have one fold),
complete instructions, etc. Kits that are very large (B-17) have
formed wire landing gear wire(s). Most kits have a basic hardware
pack, rigging thread, aluminum, brass and wire, where required. No
Dare kits contain any power components, servos, etc.
Many Dare kits include the very best of vacuum-formed
parts when needed. Many of our kits contain Dare colored covering
tissue, which is of very lightweight, foreign manufacture. The Dare
Classic Lightplane Series kits, for the most part, now contain
Japanese covering tissue. We find that most modelers have been using
either Lite-Span to cover our models, although many use the Dare
covering tissue when included.
Dare Design assumes that most of our customers
have some model building experience, therefore our instruction
sheets are brief, but comprehensive. Beginner kits are noted as such
and have more in-depth instructions. We (and al our designers) are
more than willing to offer assistance to all modelers, regardless of

Exciting Kit Update!
The Dare Design C-119 has
been enhanced with the new addition of some custom vac parts. Our
vacuum-parts designer, Keith Sparks, offered to upgrade (redesign,
really) some of the plastic parts in this unique Dare Kit. How
could we say no to someone with this talents?
Pictured here are the upgrades.
Every part has been modified and a new part added ... the flight deck!
The pilots are not included, though (they can from a Tamiya Army tank
kit and if you really want them, your local hobby shop probably has the
kit).
We'll include these parts in all future
C-119 kits. There will be no increase in the price of the kit due
to these upgrades. For all hobbyists that would like to have these
revisions for a previously purchased kit, you can have them ... with our
compliments. You need only send us something from your original
purchase, such as part of the original label that shows the kit name,
stock number, etc. If you ordered from the Dare website or by
credit card, we will have your personal purchase information. If
you bought your kit through a hobby shop, you would need a receipt
confirming your purchase and the name and address of the store.
We will then send you all the upgraded parts... FOR FREE... including
FREE SHIPPING! Imagine that! (Sorry,
we don't offer installation at this time).
