A World Designed For Every School Child
( A FUN, teaching/learning project)
 The "Dare
Design World Globe" is ready to assemble after you merely cut the two
halves from the sheet of plastic. The two parts are easy to align and
can be glued together (if you choose) with "white glue." The laser cut
base is ready to paint, stain or just use it "as is."
The Dare World
Globe is designed so that the "world" sits on the proper axis, and it
will spin freely in the laser cut wooden stand. The builder can then
color the oceans and continents, All important land areas are raised
above the surface for easy identification. The names of the continents,
oceans and countries can even be written on the globe by the builder.
 This is a
great learning tool for even elementary school children. The Dare World
Globe is about 4" in diameter, and is 5 1/2 high when placed in the
laser cut stand. It was designed to be desktop size and can easily be
stored in most classroom settings.
All
recommended paints and the recommended glue are water cleanup, and the
only tools needed are a pencil and a pair of scissors!

Aerodynamics"
 This
book was written by the staff of Dare Design especially for the beginning
modeler. It's an easy to understand book with a lot of information on
model building and flying that you won't find anywhere else.
The book has been written so that kids can
understand the principles of flight. Here they'll learn all about the
materials used in model building. There are many pictures, diagrams
and drawings showing and naming all the parts of an airplane.
We discuss why and how airplanes fly, all in
language kids can understand. We discuss the various types of wood
modelers use and what they are used for in construction. There is a glossary to help them better
understand the discussions in the book. This is the best first
book beginning modelers will find. (Length: 30 pages)

"Topsy Kit"
 This
is a "conventional" glider, meaning the wing is in the front and the fin
(rudder) and stabilizer (tail) is in the rear, much like any plane you
see flying today.
The fuselage stick is made of durable basswood.
The other parts (flying surfaces) have been laser cut.
This should be your very first model. It is easy
to understand and build. It flies very well, and has a hand
catapult launcher included too.

#004IF "Turvey Kit"
 This
is a great second model. The Turvey is a "carnard" glider.
Look closely and you'll see that the wing is in the back and the
stabilizer is in the front. It is as easy to build as the Topsy,
and just as easy to fly... maybe flying a little better because of the
canard design. The instructions will teach you more about canard
flight.
